Inova Brings Care to You with Inova OnDemand

FALLS CHURCH, VA – Inova knows that sometimes you just can’t get to the doctor’s office.  Whether it’s springtime allergies or the common cold, getting sick is never convenient, but getting care should be. In response to the demand for greater access to care, Inova this week launches Inova OnDemand, a telehealth service that allows you to consult with a doctor virtually from your phone, tablet, or computer, whenever and wherever you are.  Inova OnDemand is a convenient and effective way for patients to see a doctor for common illnesses, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Inova OnDemand telehealth offers round-the-clock access to doctors, providing patients with a faster, easier way to see a doctor any time.  In collaboration with American Well®, the leading telehealth  company, Inova OnDemand provides patients with video consultations, for when getting to the doctor’s office is not the best option:  the doctor’s office is closed, you’re not sure if you need to actually see someone or you’re on the road and don’t have a local provider.

The new telehealth service will launch on April 12, 2017 and will offer patients more convenient ways to access care online and by mobile app.  The doctors with Inova OnDemand can diagnose and recommend appropriate treatment for common illnesses such as colds, flu, fever, rash, abdominal pain, sinusitis, pink eye, ear infection and migraine. There are two easy ways to sign up for Inova OnDemand:

Doctor visits are $49 per visit and payment is accepted directly through the Inova OnDemand web and app.
