Ido Schoenberg serves as the Chairman and CEO of Amwell and oversees the company’s corporate strategy. Since co-founding the company in 2006, with Roy Schoenberg, Ido has led its strategic direction, growing Amwell to become one of the largest digital care enablement companies in the world. Ido has a lengthy track record of successfully leading technology companies in the healthcare field. In 1996, together with Phyllis Gotlib, he co-founded iMDSoft, a provider of enterprise software that automates hospital critical care units. He grew the company into a market leader with a large multi-national install base in the U.S., Europe, and East Asia. In 2001, Ido joined CareKey Inc. as Chief Executive Officer and took the company through its acquisition by the TriZetto group. Ido served as TriZetto’s Chief Business Strategy Officer until his departure in the summer of 2006. Ido received his MD from the Sackler School of Medicine.

Phyllis Gotlib
President, Amwell InternationalPhyllis Gotlib leads Amwell’s international operations. Prior to joining Amwell, Phyllis was Executive Partner at Flare Capital. She also served as co-founder and CEO of iMDsoft, a disruptive clinical information technology company that created innovative, market-leading solutions to streamline and optimize hospitals’ high-acuity care. Phyllis led iMDsoft from inception through its exponential international growth and ultimately to its acquisition by TPG Growth in 2012. Prior to iMDsoft, she founded PS Gluck, a lucrative diamond trade company which she managed for many years with her partner in the Israeli Diamond Exchange (IDE). After her departure from PS Gluck, Phyllis joined Tactic Capital Markets (TCM), a boutique investment firm, as a managing partner. At TCM, Phyllis began to focus on healthcare investments.
In addition to her business ventures, Phyllis is an active philanthropist and social activist. She holds leadership roles on various not for profit organizations including Zahal Disabled Veterans Organization (ZDVO) and the Israel American Council (IAC). Phyllis works closely with Flare Capital’s entrepreneurs, providing deep healthcare technology insights and experience to support portfolio companies to become market leaders.

Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating OfficerMark Hirschhorn is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Amwell and oversees the financial aspects of the company, enterprise-wide optimization and capital allocation activities. Hirschhorn is a seasoned leader in the healthcare technology sector, bringing over three decades of expertise in financial and strategic operations. He joined Amwell from TapestryHealth where he served as CEO and formerly on its Board of Directors. Prior to that, he spent seven years at Teladoc Health, contributing as CFO and COO, and helping to successfully grow the company while establishing virtual care as a trusted healthcare delivery arm. He also played a pivotal role in the growth and strategic repositioning of Talkspace as its president and COO. Mark has also held CFO positions at several companies across technology, telecommunications, and life sciences companies.
Mark is on the Board of NextCare, one of the nation’s largest providers of urgent care. He holds a B.A and MBA from Rutgers University.

Chief Medical OfficerCynthia Horner is Amwell's Chief Medical Officer. In this role, she leads thousands of clinicians delivering virtual care on Amwell’s worldwide platform, and oversees all AMG programs including virtual primary care, urgent care, women’s health and behavioral health, as well as new clinical offerings.Dr. Horner also works with hospital systems and payers, and Amwell’s product and engineering teams, to design solutions that enable high-quality clinical outcomes, reduce friction and adhere to complex regulatory requirements. She’s a course contributor for the American Board of Telehealth and prior to joining Amwell, spent 20 years in family medicine.Dr. Horner has her B.A. in History from Duke University and earned her M.D. at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. -

Miller brings over 34 years of healthcare experience and is a seasoned leader in the health technology industry. He joined Amwell from Evolent Health Services, where he served as SVP/CSO. Prior to that, he held various sales and management positions focused on driving growth at leading healthcare companies including TriZetto/Cognizant, HealthEdge, WebMD, and GE Medical Systems.
Michael is a Colorado native and attended the Leeds Business School at the University of Colorado - Boulder. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three adult children, as well as pursuing his passions for golf, tennis, basketball, and skiing.

Dan Zamansky
Chief Product and Technology OfficerDan Zamansky is the Chief Product and Technology Officer at Amwell. Previously, Dan spent 11 years at Amazon in a number of leadership roles in product management, engineering and technology. Dan founded and led AWS Health AI, Amazon’s cloud AI initiative in healthcare and life sciences, overseeing the effort to democratize access to cutting edge AI technology to healthcare customers via Amazon Web Services. Dan also served as Head of Product for Amazon ElastiCache, a cloud in-memory data store, and as General Manager of core platform services at Amazon Advertising.
Prior to Amazon, Dan held business and technical positions across healthcare and telecommunications industries. Dan holds an MBA specializing in Healthcare from UNC Chapel Hill, and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.

Timothy Kleinsmith
Area Vice President, Government ProgramsTim Kleinsmith leads Amwell’s Government Solutions sector, overseeing strategy and execution for federal and public-sector healthcare initiatives. He joined Amwell from Echo Five Group, where he served as a Director and Senior Consultant supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs. Prior to his civilian career, Tim honorably served 10 years in the United States Army, holding leadership roles ranging from team medic to Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Army Surgeon General. His military background provides deep insight into federal healthcare systems and Veterans’ needs. At Amwell, Tim helped establish and now leads the company’s Veterans Employee Resource Group.
Tim holds a B.S. in Business Economics from Miami University and is currently pursuing his MBA at The Pennsylvania State University.
