Fund your future
Episode 3: funding and implementing your Behavioral Health strategy
We all know behavioral health services are in high demand and low supply. Many federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) across the country are seeking innovative ways to incorporate behavioral health into existing workflows and remove barriers to care such as long wait times and a lack of providers.
There is a large funding opportunity available right now to help you expand access to behavioral health services.
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) just announced additional funding for their Behavioral Health Service Expansion (BHSE) grant, which is specifically designed to support FQHCs increase the number of patients receiving mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) services.
There are up to $240 million dollars available through this grant.
Guidance for this grant has been released by the HRSA, and phase one of submissions are due on May 22, 2024, with final submissions due on June 21, 2024. The Amwell team is here to help you understand the guidance and technology available to support behavioral health expansion at scale.
